For some reason I always forget that I have a blog on here, so I apologize for the absence. Here are some Abyssmal updates!

"Hoodoo For Voodoo" had another national release this month on Feb 10th, and is now available in almost all online retailers and Netflix! Please put it in your que, even if you’ve seen it!

Our award winning comic book “The Vandyls” gets into print just in time for the Megacon Convention in Orlando on Feb 27-March 1st. Come by our booth and grab a copy. Myself and the artist will be on hand signing autographs as well!

Our short film “Guitar God” is completed and will be premiering at the Orlando Museum of Art on March 5th. It is part of a larger project called “The Happiness Experiment” and will be screening at festivals through the summer.

“Doomsday County” is over halfway wrapped, and we will actually be premiering the Xenombies segment tomorrow night (Feb 23rd) at The Haven Lounge!

We will be helping produce a new short film directed by Rob Reider called “Pedestal”. Production is scheduled for this next week.

We are winding down production on the “Untitled Stainboy Documentary”. We have a few more shoots and interviews scheduled over the next couple months.

Our next official project is going to be our short film “2:22” that has been in pre-production for a while. We are going to create this short as part of the investor package for our next Feature “Spook Hill”.

Lots going on. I will try to blog more real soon!

Had a couple server issues with the Blog, but now everything is back up!

Just a couple of updates!

I was recently awarded a “Filmmaker of Distinction” award at the 2008 Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival, due to the contributions to the festival and the Florida film industry. I wanted to throw a shoutout to 3 Boys Productions for supplying me with this honor.

Our comic concept “The Vandyls” took home 1st prize in the Students Of The Unusual comic contest! We will get a cash prize and published in the next Students Of The Unusual horror comic compilation. A special edition of the “Stubborn” tale as to which I was on the team of writers for will be released in February, and “The Vandyls” book is scheduled to be released in April.

We wrapped post production on the Guitar God short, just in time to edit it into the “Happiness Project” timeline and get it over to the Florida Film Festival committee. We will take December and January to sweeten the audio and look to have a final cut by Feb 1st.

Photography on the “Vampire Academy” segment of Doomsday County begins this Saturday, in Orlando.

We have also started on our next journey on my next feature film directing project. At the moment the only details we have released are that it will be titled “Spook Hill” and will be written by Horror Author Owl Goingback. Stay tuned for more updates after the New Year!

I just realized I havent written a blog in a really long time. I’ve always been terrible with these things. Just a few major updates:

Hoodoo For Voodoo has been released on DVD in the U.S. as of October 14th. We had some great orders come in from all over the world. We also spent the weekend at Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend in Orlando. At the convention, we screened “The Curse Of Dr Mongoo” Segment of Doomsday County in the film festival, and won *Best Florida Horror Film*!

This past week we also completed production on our newest short Guitar God, Directed by myself, and written by Owl Goingback. It was completed for the “Happiness Project” in conjunction with the Orlando Professional Filmmakers Meetup Group. Look for more updates with that short soon!

I also had my first National Print shoot released in Hails & Horns Magazine (Available in Barnes & Nobels and Hot Topics all across the U.S.) We did a two page spread for Evil Needles Clothing, featuring the model Mandy Murphy.

We have been continuing on the path of gathering footage from our “Stainboy Documentary”. Just this past week we interviewed the great southern rock group Nashville Pussy at a show in Jacksonville.

November brings us a Thanksgiving trip to Louisiana, and the production of “Vampire Academy”, the next segment in Doomsday County.

With looming Hurricane Ike on a crash course with South Florida, I thought I would update while things are still in the calm. My family has already evacuated the Keys, and we are hoping for the best, and the storm to turn south.

We wrapped principle photography on the "Xenombies" segment of Doomsday County this past week. The shoot went fairly smoothly over the course of 4 days at Full Sail University's Soundstages. We ran into a little trouble towards the end, but hopefully no one gets fired or expelled. You can check out the Myspace for new pictures, and the new Official Website will launch soon.

A couple of weeks back, I got the opportunity to shoot an editorial for "Hails & Horns Magazine" a national publication from the owners of "Amp Magazine" that focuses on Heavy Metal Music. The spread was for local clothing designers Evil Needles Clothing. Look for it on newsstands nationally in October!

I have spent the last day coloring a new line of Cartoon styled horror shirts that Evil Needles Clothing is designing, with out awesome Comic Book illustrator Luandra Whitehurst. I'll have some examples soon.

I just wrote a new script for a short film called "Shimmer" that will be directed by Jon Sawyer that will take part in our Orlando Film Industry Professionals Group Project.

I've been helping the amazing band T13C! for their trek for a record contract. This past month we shot a promo for Fox Sports (because they were named the official band of the Florida Gators) and just yesterday performed live on the Johnny & Jayde Morning Show on XL106.7 (One of the largest radio stations in Central Florida)

I also just shot the new September cover of aXis magazine. See below:

We are gearing up for Halloween, and expect to hear some pretty exciting Hoodoo For Voodoo news... October's going to be a crazy month!
